Wycoller Hall and Counrty Park. by grace55

Wycoller Hall and Counrty Park.

Wycoller had been on our list of places to visit for a long time and I must say it is well worth a visit if you enjoy picturesque country scenery.
The Hall is a ruin but it was a favour place for Charlotte Bronte to visit.
It is said to have inspired the description of Ferndene in Jane Eyre. I am a fan of Charlotte, so it naturally felt right being there and soaking in the atmosphere.
There is a very small village with a tea room and crafts for sale.
the toilets were basic but clean.
There was even a duck pond, with noisy, friendly mallards, near a picnic table.
Wonderful collage of a magical, atmospheric place.
