Oh my goodness, our next door neighbour used to say that! Sid Fisher, bless his soul, was a builder and built the two semi detached houses they lived in one and we moved to live in the neighbouring one. Mum recently passed and ours has just about been sold. Sad, but life moves on.
It is a very long time since I have heard that sweet expression.
