This attractive neighbourhood cat sometimes appears in the cobbled back alley near our house because he likes to watch the starlings on the bird feeder. He just watches and it is marvellous seeing his excitement and delight. Thankfully he does not harm the birds but it is a cat's instinctive nature to be vigilant of birds and mice.
