Restraint/Reflected

Day 2 of being subjected to "Management Speak". Showing remarkable restraint. Macro matchsticks were more frustratingly difficult to capture than I thought they would be. 144 photos and this is the best I could get...mounting frustration.
Great close up of those flames! Wonderful.

Check Guy Fawkes, Vol. 1, he had some good ideas. 144 shots, I'm gobsmacked at your persistence - but the shot's pretty darned good.

This is great. I tried this ages ago and it is v difficult. More management speak today? We used to play bullshit bingo to pass the time

Sam
LOL LOL I've just done the same thing over 2 days........an "offsite" :)

You have just managed raise the global temperature by 2 degrees. Haha. Nice composition.

Have you tried passing the time in meetings/seminars with b/s bingo. Occupies the mind very pleasantly. Love the shot, and admire your perseverance.

Just saw Rachel suggested the same thing - you're on a winner.
April 15th, 2014
@jess1204 thank you very much
@golftragic @rachelwithey thanks both - we used to run a run a sweepstake to see how long it would take one of them to say his favourite "there's many a slip betwixt cup and lip" but eventually he clicked on! Twats!
@yaorenliu thank you
@gigiflower so many other "off site" things that I could be doing!
@newbank @mzzhope thanks very much :)
@sarahview one of these days I'm going to be taking a photo of my house burning down, but I like to live life on the edge...
April 15th, 2014
@graemestevens that would be ' ouchy!' not edgy :-) but I hear you.. extreme photo sports lol
April 15th, 2014
Boy are you patient, or is that too much of an insult! Love the blue flame at the end of the matchstick
April 15th, 2014
Great capture! I wonder if they were coated with a little something if they would burn a little slower...sounds like a good excuse for me to play with fire lol :)
April 15th, 2014
Nice work. You should be pleased with the result.
April 15th, 2014
@sarahview I feel a new sport coming on...
@ceilidh thank you, and not insulting at all!
@creativefool I wasn't aware of anyone needing an excuse to play with fire ;)
@spanner Thanks, very much appreciated!
April 15th, 2014
Wow, the patience! Must be all those hours of management speak that has given you the patience of a (creative) saint.
April 15th, 2014
@jules13 Thanks, it's given me something, but it certainly was not patience!
April 15th, 2014
Wow that is a lot of dedication and persistence, well done!
April 15th, 2014

April 15th, 2014

@livvy I stopped counting matches, but it's just 1 match, 1 mirror
@wenbow I'm undecided on this one, but thank you :)
@wearing0 thanks...and no comment ;)
April 15th, 2014
An awesome photo...and I can almost hear the 'burning' frustration in your narrative!
April 15th, 2014
Magical detail on the match on the left - well done. Fav for me.
April 15th, 2014

April 16th, 2014
macro matchsticks.... oooh! must try that sometime... i think this came out quite well - it's one of those things that i don't think should be too too perfect, y'know? as for management speak - ever played bullshit bingo? ;p
