The End of the Scourge by graemestevens

The End of the Scourge

I was taking my morning constitutional in the garden this morning when I was brutally attacked from behind - the struggle was brief, intense but excessively violent none the less. Had it not been for many years spent training as a ninja coupled with my special forces discipline, you would no doubt be looking at an image of me hanging here, but I am pleased to report that the scourge upon my garden has finally been put to an end.

Today's neighbourhood discussion point: who is that freak that lives at number 39? Today I saw him hanging a teddy bear from a light fitting with a working noose while standing on a chair and taking photos of it...

This was taken using one of our new NDX Cokin Filters, not bad for a first "play time" I think.

I can only hope you got the right culprit! I'm living in fear that one might still be hiding in the bush......

@gigiflower I certainly hope so to - I'll be keeping a very close watch on any bush related activity...

@harbie Teddy Bears are among natures most violent and vicious predators. It's a scientific fact.
@golftragic Absolutely - I have no idea how many more there are, but I'll not stand for it!
May 2nd, 2014

Sounds like you had a lucky escape. Do you think I should worry about my kids they take about 10 to bed each at night?

@golftragic Permission to panic sir!
@newbank as long as the bears aren't carrying knives they should be okay!
@jess1204 thank you very much :)
@creativefool There's plenty more scope for killing then - this is actually one of the favourite dog toys, they always give me odd looks when I start playing with him as well!
@dibzgreasley thank you very much
@mzzhope thanks very much

May 2nd, 2014
Oh noooo!!! I'm glad you survived, but poor Ted! Haha Lovely capture - such FUN! AND you make me laugh!
May 2nd, 2014
@robrazer there's not enough bear awareness in this part of the world.
@livvy laugh away, pleased to be of service. As for taking my constitutional, it's just a wander around the back yard to survey the realm

@ceilidh My daughter used to love that book! That and Albert le Blanc were her favourites, so I'm very versed in spotting the signs of bear like activity!
