Or, more accurately, I need to burn some body fat and quite possibly cut down on cake, coffee and wine. Like that will ever happen.
I have still failed to invest in photoshop, so the set up for this is done the old fashioned way - with a bit of risk and nerves of steel. For those of you who have in the past voiced concern over the lush verdancy of the hair on parts of my body, you may now sleep easy at night in the knowledge that it is almost all gone, thanks in no small part to this sort of shot.
This is best viewed on black...that is, if you can stomach being up close and personal with two 44 year old nipples that are no longer located where they used to be.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
OK, first the good things:
Those are some really impressive tattoos! Hope they are real!
Your body still rocks!! Not quite sure where your nipples where supposed to be originally... ;-) They look like two eyes...
Love the arm bands and the dog collar!
Burning the hair on your chest is probably less painful than waxing it!
Great picture!
Bad things? The fire does not look terribly impressive in this one! You might want to invest in photoshop!
@panthora Both my nipples and myself thank you sincerely. As for the fire...you're right, it was my thought as well but when I wander around half naked with a fire in m hands people tend to call the police ;) We must get photoshop though!
Nipples, eh, overrated... on a man. If they weren't, however, I would be proud to flaunt a pair such as yours. Superb effort with the photo, and Osia pegged the fire.
@northy Thanks very much - they hurt like hell when they being done but it was worth it too look like a shirtless ruffian. @bigugly Thanks very much - I'm rather attached to them myself but I get highly offended on a regular basis as they insist on making their way south.
So for me it's blue oyster cult burnin' for you that comes to mind - I like a classic every once in a while.....fire as a hair remover.....wonder what the market is for that ;) nice shot - as for the nipple question I won't even touch that...no really I won't :p
Great shot. The selective colour works great here and I really like the tone of B&W that you've used. I don't know how you manage to be this creative every day!
@deak68 I should hope that won't touch my nipples ;) @kwind Thanks very much :) @lizmason Sometimes i wonder as well...and thank you :) @amyleewinfield Pfft...tell that to my mirror! And thanks very much :) @888rachel Yeah, the more I see the less I like. Might to time to move on to fully clothed shots as I can't seem to find a model thats willing to play with fire...I don't know why...
Ya know...there are ppl around these parts that routinely play with fire and would LOVE to be your model. I've been working on setting up some shoots.
And, just bc I am who I am...I wanna see an after pic with hair effectively removed via this new-found technique you've captured so well in this shot. Just sayin'. ;)
Buy me a plane ticket, and I'd love to model with dangerous fire set-ups. I can escape from this thing called snow you seem not to have heard of. Buy me a round trip ticket, and I'll even model half naked. ;)
Super cool photo per usual. I didn't realize you don't own photoshop. All the edits are done in lightroom?
@gigiflower I'd like to say yes, but it's mine...woof woof @deliad I have the same reaction... :)) @voiceprintz I look forward to seeing those shots...as for after shots of my hairless body...I look like gollum @ludgate Everything is done in Lightroom - that either says I'm too lazy to get Photoshop or too crazy to bother. Now then, the question of the round trip ticket...you saucy minx you ;) (and that's all I'm saying here)
@sioux Thanks very much :) @kali66 Thanks - I'll have a look at at that. I've downloaded Afinity for Mac but yet to have a proper look at it...I seem to enjoy the risk ;) @ludgate That works for me as well, as does your suggested pose ;)
I have to say, you look pretty good - I wouldn't worry about it.
Great shot, and people might start to wonder if a big fire is a bit of an overcompensation... fire looks good, especially since it is real!

works with layers but not sure if you can do the tricks you want with it, worth the price though
