Firstly, it's Monday and I face another interminable week at my current place of employment where I will no doubt be abused, degraded and placed under unacceptable levels of stress.
Secondly, I just had a haircut. I go to a barber so that I am not expected to make inane small talk about the weather, fashion, or who did what to who since my last visit. Despite this I still have the task of sitting in front of a mirror for 20 minutes, staring back at myself and wondering if Dorian Gray wasn't on the right track after all. It prompts strange thoughts.
