I had another round of three job interviews today, so that's the second interviews for all of these positions out of the way...and now I wait. My main worry today was remembering which interview I was in at the time. It would be fair to say though that after this day I am officially dazed, confused and exhaustipated.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Oh, Graeme, you clean up very nicely! I was afraid you would go in shirtless, hair on fire. :) Interviews are super-stressful and your shot has captured the feeling so well.
@lizmason They're far from my favourite past time and thanks! @bigugly Thank you my good mine, those links are venetian glass because I'm a posh knob. @kali66 They'd better be - I stop to get something to eat after the last one and the lady in the cafe asked if I was a solicitor or an undertaker. I told her I could be an undertaker if she liked. @jetr Thank you kindly, on both counts :) @888rachel Thanks very much - any of the three will do but I think it's the last one that I want, which is odd because when I started this process that was the one I didn't really care for! @rosiekerr Not bad for someone who's usually half naked is it? And thank you very much :) @kt8ird I am fancy, I just keep it well hidden - and thanks very much :) @amandal It's my damned camera!!! @epcello Thanks very much - on the bright side, it will soon be over!
@kali66 You may find this hard to believe, but it has been considered... @annied Why yes, several pairs. Doesn't everybody? These are Venetian glass because I'm ever so wealthy and influential.
@ukandie1 Thanks very much - every now and then I'll pull out all the stops. It's been 4 1/2 years since I last wore a tie though... @annied Again, doesn't everybody? I must say I'm guilty of liking shirts that need cufflinks ;)
@annied I have at least two pair of cufflinks. I'm with @graemestevens on this one. I thought everyone had at least one pair. I'm with you that they are quite sexy!
@graemestevens I thought everyone knew the word exhaustipated. I fail to see why ppl think that's new! Keeping positive thoughts that one of these interviews works out for you!
@voiceprintz Thanks very much - I'm thinking positively about at least one of them, it's the waiting that's the hard part! And yeah @annied , so there! :p
@kali66 Ugh, people like that just...just...anyway! moving swiftly on... @kevin365 Thanks very much - you may help yourself to any of the words that I've helped myself to... ;)
How well this pics fits your sentiments! You look so smart and professional. I must say that you look quite different today than yesterday, it´s good you didn´t go to job interviews wearing that stuff on your face....
@annied You'd best not forget it either because I won't be shy about reminding you ;) @colleenbrown88 Thanks very much - not too bad for someone who spends most of their time covered in gunge and half naked ;) @dibzgreasley I know! I blame my camera...and thanks very much @newbank How much are you paying and what/who will I doing? Also, thank you very much nice lady :) @susale Thanks very much - every now and then I get dressed all proper like and try to make a different impression ;) @happypat Second round is most excellent, the hard part of course is dressing properly and minding my P's & Q's
@annied So would I, although I take the phrase "backwards in coming forwards" as something of challenge. It seems physically impossible and yet I'm so tempted to try...
@yaorenliu I'll have you know that the shirt is the height of...something ;) @sioux Thank you kindly on both counts :) @annied I have several utterly despicably filthy responses in my mind for what you may or may not wish to type.
That is a big word. I hope you used big words in your interview. Or you could use the old saying "don't you know who I am?, you know you want to hire me". :)
I like the splash of purple too. Great selfie to convey what type of day you had.
Instead of doing all those interviews , why not send potential employers a link to your Project365..You will be beating them away with an old skull.
Great shirt and the cufflinks show you are a man of taste and refinement ...
Great processing, love your new word, best of luck with the job search. One of the benefits of being retired: I get a free pass when I use a public restroom with a sign in there that states 'you must wash your hands before returning to work' ;-D
Classy looking clothes and perfect capture of the expression to go with your narrative. Good luck -- I hope you get the job that you want the most (given that it isn't 'photographer of the year'?).
@tonygig Every now and then I push the boat out ;) @karlow75 I tried that approach once. Disturbingly they did know who I was and my chances were shot before I really got started... @jack4john Of course I'm a man of taste and refinement...I used to live in Farnborough and it doesn't get any more upper class than that. Oh wait... @annied I dread to think...actually, no I don't ;) @susanalena Thank you so much, appreciated :) @juliedduncan Thank you kindly on both counts :) @bill_fe Now I can't wait to retire! @taffy It's definitely not photographer of the year! And thank you very much :) @linnypinny Thank you kindly and help yourself...I stole it as well ;)
Love the selective coloring (I am very partial to blue) - and I do RecogniZe that look....just remember it's all about the confidence and buzzwords whether or not what you say makes any sense at all - check if you use enough lingo you can probably make it all up as you go along....and, if all else fails, bring one of your more shall we say intense photos along to help seal the deal ;)
@gigiflower As long as you're aware that I dance like we did in the 80's then that should be fine. ;) @andy3168 It happens every now and then and thanks :) @jocasta So do I and thanks very much :)
You wore that shirt to an interview - what the hell were you interviewing for? On second thoughts, it's perhaps best I don't know - I'm a sensitive soul.
Oh, and colorful.....very colorful!! You have certainly conveyed all those emotions....I certainly hope you find a job that suits you soon because interviewing is exhausting indeed, and frankly it just feels like being in limbo.....I hope you land somewhere soon!
@bigugly Thank you my good mine, those links are venetian glass because I'm a posh knob.

@annied You can get up now, I'm neither wealthy or influential

@deak68 I'm always making up words, so that shouldn't be an issue!
@andy3168 It happens every now and then and thanks :)
@jocasta So do I and thanks very much :)
