Before you go looking for genitalia in this shot, The Groin is man made structure at Waiwakaiho Beach designed to break the surf, so you will not find any protuberances of a male nature, nor any evidence of rogue lady gardens here. There is a lonely sea gull though, so all is well.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Another cracker Graeme - might be worth visiting the Lens Correction panel in LR... I'm sure that the Auto function would straighten that horizon in a jiffy.
@hermann You're more than welcome - I would be mortified if there was any misunderstanding! ;) @vignouse Thanks very much - I often debate with myself over the lens correction but sometimes...well, sometimes I like a bit of bendy curviness ;)
makes the sea look like it is cupped in mother earth's hand :)
I think you mean groyne as you are not in the US!....'A groyne (groin in the United States) is a rigid hydraulic structure built from an ocean shore (in coastal engineering) or from a bank (in rivers) that interrupts water flow and limits the movement of sediment.
@kali66 That's the very one, but in true Taranaki style (and even on the signposts up here) it's definitely Groin...makes it funnier too, the tourists come from miles around...
@graemestevens and I thank the stars for them - it would be no fun without them!
great sky and I love the curve - I love things when they are slightly askew
All that money we spend on quality lenses to avoid distortion yet I just love that concave curvature! If you turn the lens upside down maybe it will be convex! :-)
@gigiflower I have a shot in mind but I'm actually looking for the right location...just be patient... @888rachel Be very careful for what you wish for, you know I love a challenge... @anthonyt That is good to know...sadly he's never far from mine... @overalvandaan Thank you kindly :) @karlow75 That would be far too perfect and my luck doesn't run that way ;) @susanalena Thanks very much indeed :) @bill_fe So was I and believe, I was looking very closely
