@kali66 Subtlety is not my strong suite...and I always shoot in B&W. Always. I just seem to "see" things better in B&W than in colour if that makes any sense.
@graemestevens yes it does, but just as an observation, it also explains a certain lack of contrast in your images, the camera fudges it , you cant really get the ooomph that way, meaning black blacks and white whites and the whole spectrum in between. . if your camera has the ability you should maybe try shooting in RAW as well as jpg. that way you could fiddle with them more in Lightroom or whatever software you have, and delve into the fine arts of black and white conversion . at the very least try giving your images more contrast in post-processing anyway to make the POP, try it, you will like it.
How did I miss this one!! (Well I didn't because I'm writing this) Wonderful splash of color in the sky and refection across the water! Nice tonal adjustments to create a lovely image!
