Son of a beach. by graemestevens

Son of a beach.

Yes, I did go to the beach again. What's more, I took 53 shots. And then promptly chose the first one. I could get so much more done in my days.
I hate it when that happens but this shot is incredible! Love the layers, the reflections in the watery sand and those clouds are very dramatic looking.

Hahahaha the title alone is amazing!!! Fantastic shot as well. You know you excel at those :)

@juleshoogstraanderson Thanks very much - when I left home this morning there were more clouds than this...by the time I got the beach, which is only 10 minutes from home, they'd wandered off!

Love this pov... if you're looking for your clouds I may have found them...
April 7th, 2016
The pov works very well to show off the clouds and the frothy waves. Very clever of you to make the ocean almost symmetrical.
April 7th, 2016
@golftragic Thank you very much - the whole symmetry thing is one of my oldest powers ;)
@northy Thanks very much - would you mind sending them back please???
April 7th, 2016
@kerosene Thanks very much - it was either going to be called "son of a beach" or "f**k it, here again" ;)
April 7th, 2016
You can't go wrong at the beach ....
April 7th, 2016
We had clouds this these today, too. I am voting for "son of a beach." Delightful symmetry... and nature bows to your powers. :)

April 7th, 2016
Hey don't complain, for me its normally the other way around, my better ones are at the end once I get into my stride. Great shot, looks so peaceful.
