The Black (and White) Hole. by graemestevens

The Black (and White) Hole.

I have returned. Every endeavour shall made to catch up on what, I am sure, will be amazing shots. Having said that, I make no guarantees.
Great POV! I like looking through the rock archway!

I thought that the foreground needed colour to see whats beyond! I think I am wrong......again!

they all are amazing Graeme-did u have to get wet to get this one?
July 13th, 2016
@tracie8266 I got a little bot damp around the feet to get this one...it was a 40 minute walk to get here and by the time I did the tide had turned, quite literally.
@maggiemae You were quite right in th other one, it looked nothing in B&W. This one on the other hand didn't work at all in colour!

This is quite splendid! Fabulous texture and detail in the foreground. This one is definitely well suited to black and white.

I like this rock structures, and they are so difficult to photograph.. You managed to portrait it in an excellent way!

July 15th, 2016
Much better than the other holey one. Almost a fav, even!
July 15th, 2016
@yrhenwr I preferred it as well. Colour is over rated.
July 15th, 2016
Rocks are like politicians, some are slippery, some are exceedingly large and some just sit around and block your way. This is luscious in a rocky sort of way. :)
July 16th, 2016
Love it

@claireuk Thank you very much :)
@joysabin Thank you kindly - and politicians seem to be the same the world over. We're sneaking up on local council elections here and they're all starting to come out of the word work, trying their hardest to be popular
