how the words sound - how the truth lies

I'm still not feeling it...this inspiration thing is a shit.
For many moons now (more than I care to count), Ultravox have been one of my favourite bands. In fact, Mrs S and I were listening to them when we first started to court in the first half of the 80's. Ultravox were loosely classed as being part of the "New Romantic" movement, but if they were then they were not the average band of that time...mind you, I was not the average young man of that time.
Being lost in a vortex of inspirational loss I took an auditory journey to 1983 today and this is the result.
Bonus points will be awarded if you can name the song that bought about this bare chested travesty.
Vienna is the only song of theirs i remember

OMG! The library his on fire! Tell the housekeeper to call the emergency services! Lets see, 1983... oh yes, not my best year.... I'm a single dad wondering how on earth I can care for two young boys and stay on the promotion ladder! Another fine selfie by the way, even if I don't understand the title. UltraWho?
September 16th, 2016
@yrhenwr Ultrawho indeed, I was courting the missus to their dulcet tones.
@kali66 That's cheating ;)

September 16th, 2016
@cutekitty The tatts are real. There are few more lying around somewhere as well...
September 16th, 2016

Great edit Graeme.

A super cool image but no idea of the song :(
September 16th, 2016
I never heard of ultravox, but I listen mostly to public radio. I like that you are playing with fire again.
September 16th, 2016
@bill_fe I play with fire when I'm at a complete loss...
@paul10 Thanks very much :)
@hermann I'd only find a way to take the points away anyway ;)
@jesperani I'm pleased I'm not the only one who's still a fan!
@tonygig Thank you very much :)
September 16th, 2016
Your book looks like a road atlas.... where are you going with this???
September 16th, 2016
@alinz If only I knew...I'm constantly getting lost
September 16th, 2016
Awesome work as always
September 17th, 2016
@susale Thanks very much :)
September 18th, 2016
Great shot as always. I've just got a new TV connected to my not so new sound system so one of the first YouTube songs I tried out on it was Vienna - absolutely powerful with the bass turned up.

There are a few extra vortexes in Sedona Arizona. I hate the spinning feeling when you are stuck in the void of inspiration vortex. Good luck stepping/climbing out. No points for me.
September 18th, 2016
@joysabin You can keep those vortexes to yourself please ;)
@jeneurell Thanks very much - our new stereo is very nearly up and running...I can't wait
September 18th, 2016
Sorry, can't think what tune you're thinking of but excellent edit nonetheless xx

@shylaine3304 Thank you so much :)

I too was a huge fan of Ultravox back in the day. The only problem I had with them was that if I wore my Ultravox T-shirt under a jacket, people seemed to think I was a John Travolta fan. You can imagine how embarrassing that was. Unlike Cute Kitty I was never a fan of Midge Ure....... Much preferred Jon Foxx.
September 23rd, 2016
@swillinbillyflynn John Foxx was the man really, although Midge had his moments (and plenty of them). I was in a record store yesterday and accidentally touched a Taylor Swift album.
