the mountain...and some other stuff.

It's been one of those days so this will have to do I'm afraid. Yes, it is in colour. Yes, I feel quite fine thank you. Yes, my phojo has buggered off again.
I wish my lack of phojo looked like this. Amazing.

Nice place you got there!
November 8th, 2016
So glad you're feeling fine. Color, in moderation can be good for the soul. A piece of unsolicited advice...Pretend you don't care and the phono will come slinking back. Hang tight.
November 8th, 2016
Wonderful contrast in this. Love the processing. Fav.
November 8th, 2016
Yes but... it's beautiful. So... it hasn't buggered off - sorry that you think so!
November 8th, 2016
Oh, dear. We will all have to suffer with a mundane photo of a magnificent pinnacle against a blue sky, with greenery in the foreground.

Darn it. ;)
November 8th, 2016
With a shot like that I'll forgive you, but don't let it happen too frequently. It's really rather an awfully nice shot gadzooks.
November 8th, 2016
Ok fine. But don't make a habit of it. Next thing youll be tiptoeing through tulips... Kidding. You can photograph whatever you like. It still looks great to us!
November 8th, 2016
Oh bugga - not this ole mountain again! You are so lucky but also good at the presentation!
November 8th, 2016
I know that mountain. Steep, lots of snow. Cold.

A fine pic. Peter Jackson would be proud.
November 8th, 2016
Spectacular
November 8th, 2016
Brilliant lighting - and looks sooooo good in colour! Fav. Good to see the mountain still standing after this mornings earthquake!
November 8th, 2016
So beautiful fabulous capture
November 8th, 2016
Earthquake??? did we have one???? Nice photo!
November 8th, 2016
Beautiful !!!!
November 8th, 2016
Lots of snow still on the mountain. Looks quite jurassic.

Is this taken from near a park/play area by a pond in New Plymouth that has a sort of boat shaped climbing frame (can't remember what it's called)?
November 8th, 2016
@nickspicsnz If we're thinking of the same place that would be Kawaroa Park, although that boat has been gone for a long time now. This was taken at Back Beach, or just up the road from the beach anyway.
@silverhorn Thank you very much :)
@alinz Thanks very much - I believe there may have been a slight shake this morning although I was having a shave at the time and it's all about priorities
@bizziebeeme Thank you very much :)
@dide It was only a little tremor...I was shaving at the time so I could only focus on one thing
@deborah63 Thank you very much :)
@scotthouston Thank you very much - I've been to the top (once). It gets colder.
@maggiemae Thank you very much :)
@katrinanz Thank you very much - the chances of me tiptoeing are fairly minimal
@golftragic Thank you kindly, always appreciated.
@rosiekerr It's a constant trial ;)
@kerosene Thank you kindly, the photo ain't too bad either ;)
@jetr Thank you very much :)
@mcsiegle I'm hanging...tight or otherwise
@blueberry1222 It serves a purpose ;)
@888rachel Thank you very much :)
November 8th, 2016
'this will have to do'? it's a beautiful composition with great light
November 8th, 2016
All has been said. So, I just like it!
November 8th, 2016
I'm confused by the other stuff...and ...is that colour?
November 8th, 2016
Beautiful...Fav
November 8th, 2016
The cloudscape is impressive :)
November 8th, 2016
Wow! Fav!!!
November 8th, 2016
Stunning view
November 8th, 2016
What an amazing view you captured here. I love the cold colour tones :)
November 8th, 2016
fabulous view, especially the light on (which mount is it?). are you sure you are quite fine?
November 8th, 2016
Gorgeous place and well captured!
November 8th, 2016
My view every morning is a mountain of laundry on top of where I sleep, and a whole bunch of stuff surrounding it. I'll gladly swap views.
November 8th, 2016
I think that your mojo is holding its breath, getting all sorts of 'colors' in its face and then will explode- so watch out.....
November 8th, 2016
your lack of phojo must be disguised- this is lovely. Your critic of course, will be thrilled to have a scene, and colour!!
November 8th, 2016
The other stuff is pretty good too.... your phojo is unlikely to have climbed the mountain, so maybe its in the undergrowth?
November 8th, 2016
Beautiful shot... there you don't get told that often do you.
November 8th, 2016
@julzmaioro I'm just pleased I was sitting down when I read that...
@yrhenwr It's probably down there somewhere, disturbing the wildlife...
@jesperani I declined to post this on that particular page and instead offered up one of my earlier blood-soaked images ;)
@joysabin That's the way it usually goes - my colour shots seem to function as some sort of warning...
@darylo It's a very kind offer but I think I'll have to decline!
@kt8ird Thank you very much :)
@bill_fe This particular mountain has two names - Mount Egmont (if you're a European settler) or Mount Taranaki if you're not. There's a long and convoluted history behind the ongoing name argument...
@novab Thank you very much indeed :)
@susale Thank you very much :)
@rachelpeony Thank you very much :)
@hermann Thank you very much :)
@tonygig Thank you very much :)
@annied It is colour - I believe that my colour shots function as a warning for an impending explosion of morbidity, fire and blood.
@domenicododaro Thank you very much :)
@pistache Thank you very much, always appreciated
November 8th, 2016
TaranakiEgmont I never know it's proper name but a mountain instantly recognisable anywhere in the world. The only one that is similar I think is Mount Errigal in Donegal Ireland. Much smaller but the same conical shape. Fave. I love it! It dominates the area so much!
November 8th, 2016
Colour! Love your mountain
November 8th, 2016
love it
November 8th, 2016
@jerome Thank you very much :)
@rachelwithey I know! I'm in shock...and thank you
@happypat Thank you very much - the naming is and always has been a contentious issue...perhaps Egginaki would be better.
November 8th, 2016
Gorgeous shot!
November 9th, 2016
@radiogirl Thank you very much :)
November 9th, 2016
Glad to know mundane has lots of different meanings! Sure like this rendition of it!
November 9th, 2016
@cottiac Thank you very much - around here "they" say that if you can see mountain it's going rain and if you can't, it is. Today it did.
November 9th, 2016
@graemestevens How encouraging!! Seems there's a lot of rain in the USA right now...
November 9th, 2016
@cottiac Somewhere I wouldn't want to be at the moment, but is anywhere safe anymore? Time will tell I guess.
November 9th, 2016
@graemestevens 6ft under perhaps?
November 9th, 2016
Amazing shot!
November 9th, 2016
That is a rather nice mountain I should say.
November 9th, 2016
Not a bad mundane shot of the day -- what a view!
November 10th, 2016
@taffy Thank you very much - it's an okay view ;)
@overalvandaan I quite like it...
@hiro Thank you very much :)
@cottiac I may have to build a bunker.
November 10th, 2016
