I went to our local camera shop today and, despite not having any money, ordered a new camera. Now I have to wait a week before taking possession of my nice shiny new Olympus E-M10 MkII with twin lens kit, touch screen do-hickies and several whirligigs of various flavours. Deepest of deep sighs.

good excuse to scale back on the redecorating, i mean the new owners will probably not share your taste anyway! i am having conniptions thinking of you painting over the wonderful mural you did in your Daughter's room
@kali66 We haven't touched the daughters room...and the rest of the house is matt white with a few accent colours so it shouldn't be too difficult to see it as a "blank canvas"...but yes, maybe I should have stuck to the candy shop for instant gratification @darylo Watch this space...it'll either be horrific of sublime. Do not panic! A few years ago I changed from Canon to Olimpus. The main reason was the weight of the equipment. I am happy with this change. Order an adapter and you will be able to use Canon's optics.
If I went into a shop with no money and bought a nice shiny new camera my wife would beat me over head with it until I saw the error of my ways, then blame me for it when it breaks😮 Well, she would I'd she could catch me 😀😀 Nice dinosaur. Is he a new pet?

You do give a sense of panic here...my favorite part is the fading background. Good luck with new camera..I just went from Canon to Sony mirrorless....hmmm, new learning curve, or just going back to basics!
It reminds me of a grumpy old so-and-so I saw up the street just now, ie all mouth. Good luck with the new toy, I believe they're very good. I changed from Canon to Fujifilm just over a year ago, and still making idiot mistakes.

Cool photo. We're now shooting with the same camera. Another reason to view your images in "I'm not worthy" mode. Will be interesting to see if and when you try the Live Composite mode.
