among the rocks

I took this a couple of days ago - behind this noble beastie you can see some of the rocks that I bounced over to get to the location for Wednesday's image. If you zoom right in you may be lucky enough to see some of my blood...and all this gentleman could do was bark at me as I bounced down the rocks after losing my footing.
Rude.
Rude.
Oh, but the shot was certainly worth getting! At least he posed for you nicely, and I like the environment capture.

Thank you for all the effort, it was worth it to catch this beauty.

He must be barking to risk laughing at your misfortune. Isn't he truly magnificent, fab nature capture

Hope it's not that big black mark on the top right?
🧐 Quite rude indeed

Haha excellent shot of this proud beast.

this really touches my heart. oh come on what is a little blood for such a great shot ;)

He does look a bit indignant. The square format is perfect for this; I'm assuming some blood splotches needed to be cropped out. Beautiful beastie! :)

Great shot - fav

Wonderful capture. I suspect he was saying, “ if you, with your long, ungainly legs try to come onto my slippery rocks, what do you expect? Know your place.”

Such an interesting place you live - no shortage of great landscapes :)

It's a great shot - well worth the damage!

Lovely shot & I think worth all the blood letting!

@ziggy77 Thanks very much :)
@pistache I think he just needs a monocle to top it all off...
@happypat Hmmm....that's easy for the uninjured to say ;)
@365karly1 It's the second time that I've fallen over in the last 3 months...and I was sober
@pdulis Thanks very much - we are a bit spoiled :)
@gardencat I think he was just sitting there laughing at me ;)
@lyndamcg Thanks very much :)
@juliedduncan I don't know why he's looking indignant - it was my pride not his!
@koalagardens Oh I don't know - I'm just a fan of keeping it inside my body...
@tinley23 Thanks very much :)
@dustyloup If it then I've lost more than I thought!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I let him off....he has bigger teeth than me ;)
@kjarn Thanks very much :)
@jyokota If he hadn't posed I would have walked away in disgust.
June 19th, 2020
Or maybe he was laughing at you as you bounced down the rocks...

Wow... great capture!
June 20th, 2020
He was insulted that you came onto his beach without an 8nvite
June 20th, 2020
@jgpittenger I've told him before that it's actually my beach...
@kwind Thanks very much :)
@caterina Thank you so much :)
@backyardbirdnerd It's probably more likely than anything else...
June 20th, 2020

June 20th, 2020
@blueberry1222 There were a couple of them hanging around - didn't actually see them until I was heading back up the rocks
