An interesting week what with a sizeable earthquake and a tropical cyclone (the power is on and off where we are, so internet access is unpredictable at best) not to mention new brakes, a rebuilt clutch and new tyres (it gave us something to do) all in time for a day trip with 9 other minis to Whangamomona, in the Taranaki Hill Country. There are 7 “saddle roads” to be traversed and one old stock tunnel, but the trade off is two rather excellent country pubs!

Yes, you've had a bit of a time up there in the north of NZ. We've been following it on the news. Great shot of this little mini heading into the light.
