While I was visiting my parents they gave me the recipe for the delicious blueberry crumble my mother had made. I made some for supper tonight but altered the recipe a bit by adding oatmeal to the crumble mixture.
Recipe (for Mag) ;>}
3pts blueberries 3/4 C Sugar( I used Splenda)
1T cornstarch 1/4 t salt
1 t ground cinnamon 1/2 t ground nutmeg
1 1/2 C flour 2/3 C packed brown sugar
8 T butter
Preheat oven to 375
Combine first six ingredients and spoon into greased 2qt. pan
Combine flour, brown sugar and butter blending until butter is pea size (I used 1/2 flour and 1/2 old fashioned oatmeal)
Pour mixture over berries on pan.
Bake until topping is brown and filling is bubbly in the center (about 45 minutes)
