This bird was in a tree outside of a store I was shopping at today. I think it was a mama bird because there was a nest in the tree and she didn't stray very far from it at all while I circled the tree to photograph her. @maggotx The nest was almost in the center of the tree and as you can see there are plenty of berries.

@debsphotos Thanks, Debbie. I thought so too because the sun was so bright and she was in the shadows so I couldn't really see what I was capturing until I got it home.

She m ust not be a mockingbird! If she were, she'd have flown down and popped you one! They are so aggressive/protective! Cute birdie pic!

@grammyn She does look puffy. I don' t think she is from seeing this, but mockingbirds puff up at times and look deceptively cute. haha
