Hand Some Leaf!

Before I went out for my walk this morning I debated whether to take my camera or not. I didn't and of course found several things I would have loved to photograph. This leaf was too good to leave behind so I brought it home. I don't think I have ever seen one this big!

It looks like a mutated Maple leaf...wow....very nice find

@maggotx I believe it might be a maple but when I went by that tree again today I noticed that all the leaves on the ground seemed to be much smaller than this oneso..........

Unbelieveable, Katy. That is the biggest one I have ever seen as well. Very nice capture using your hand as a comparison.

HUGE! I once found a dead adult cicada when out on a jog....carried it oh so gently in my hand for the rest of the run...got it home and put it with my "shells" of cicada nymphs in a specimin case and took it to school. I am glad i did. I have never found an adult one again.
