Last night I wanted to get a shot of the full moon and the sky was so hazy I couldn't do it justice but tried anyway. Tonight......no haze ......a better shot
@annehans Funny you should say that Anne. That is exactly what my friend from Wales said in her caption! There is a difference in the angle from her shot to mine even though it is the same moon which fascinates me.
@maggotx Your work is so much better thatn mine it made me smile to know you are impressed and jealous! ;.} I am pleased because it is again without a tripod (don't tell Robert!) although I did brace my elbows on my knees while I was sitting on the front porch taking the shot.
I have one decent moon shot and keep wanting to get more, but seem to never be in the right place at the right time with the right camera! :) This is a great shot!
@marilyn Thanks so much. I still have lots to learn about how I could have made it better but for now...I'm happy with it. You are so busy that it is a wonder you get any shots! What you do is great.
This is great! Way better than any I have gotten yet. The few times I tried it, it was sooo cold and windy and i was not dressed for it. Of course, you can't wear gloves, so that is always an issue. But then I could not get the right combination of settings nor hold the camera still but did not have my tripod. This inspires me to attempt it again next month!
@espyetta Well I shot this sitting on my front porch bracing my arms on my knees with the setting on automatic so I am sure you can duplicate that. Thanks for your kind words MaryBeth. I know you can do better than I did.
