On my way home from church this morning I was diligently looking for something photo worthy in the fog and saw these trees behind a house as I passed by. Of course I turned around and parked on the side of the road, rolled down my window and took the shot. there is something about fog that makes the ordinary more interesting to me.
It is beautiful, Katy. I love the fog too . . we supposedly moved to a foggy area here. But no fog or mist yet! Bummer. I do get fog on my camera lens when I walk into a warm room from the outside cold. Does that count? LOL
@karenann LOL! It could. When we go to the beach I have taken some really hazy looking shots that way that turned out quite well. Of course here it is walking out of AC into the humid outdoors.......just the opposite of your situation! Thanks for your nice comments KarenAnn.
There is something special when fog is all around you...a wonderful feeling. the four trees surrounded with all that open space make a real nice picture.
@karenann Hey Karenann! You know what I read when I got my new camera? It said if you take out in the super cold weather, to put it in a big baggie when you bring it back in...If you dont' , the cold cold glass lens chills the air near it and since cold air can hold less water vapor than warm air, the air lets go water vapor (condensation) on your camera. So if you put it in a baggie with air squeezed out and the air in the baggie is also cold, then you bring it in and let it warm gradually, I guess you have less risk of moisture in your camera. Not sure I will ever bother doing that, but I read that!
@espyetta Thanks for the comment on the "baggie" thing, MaryBeth. I'll look at my book again . . and maybe ask the teacher about it in class tomorrow night too. Thanks :)
@karenann You are attending a class!? Lucky ! I intend to this summer. it is probably just "super safe overkill"...probably no one does it. but if you are ever out in really cold weather (which we rarely experience) it might be a good thing.
