So cool! The symmetry and texture are great! So where do gumballs come from? They look like some sort of thistle. Is gumballs a local name for them? They are an amazing subject for photos. :)
Same question -where do these come from? My grandma used to make different crafts using them, but I don't know where they come from. I like what you've done with this shot though! LOTS of different textures!
@marilyn@thesandbox5@jayberg@debsphotos I generally don't like to do a mass thanks but I didn't want to write it over and over that I put a change to my photo and a link for a slightly different view of the gumballs. I appreciate your comments about the textures and how interesting they are. They are great for crafts but a bit of a nuisance for people who have the tree in their yard and have to deal with them when they fall off the tree. Thanks again for all your kind comments
Hi Katy, long time no comment...nice shot. Looking at this photo I wonder what it would look like in HDR. You have exposure bracketing on your camera don't you?....have you tried it yet..?
@maggotx MAg! I was just wondering today if you are OK I have missed you. I think I might have EB on my camera but sure wouldn't know how to do it ....and therefore no I haven't tried it yet. Your gentle suggestion is probably going to push me slowly that way though. Thanks, MAg for the nudge. :~}
