@jayberg does some fantastic smoke shots and I have been wanting to try for a while. I have actually tried a couple of times and had epic failures. Today I decided to fiddle with the settings I read in a tutorial and came up with some passable shots. I am thrilled and want to thank Jay publicly for his encouragement and support! Thanks, Jay! ;~}

@grammyn We are so critical of ourselves, Katy and I have to stop being this way. It is so wonderful to find what we enjoy taking photos of or learning from others photos or expanding our horizons so to speak. Nice time in life with so much to help us along a creative journey of what we not only like visually that is out there in the world but can be created like this. Pretty awesome. Expands our photos beyond just photos. Hope I am making sense.
I think that this is a great capture, Katy ... and you can do this right in the comforts of your A/C .. right?!! Love your color tones and the gorgeous simplicity.
@marilyn Once again you are the foundation for all of this! Of all the comments I receive yours is the one I always look for and without you and your support I would never have tried ANY of this! Thanks you form the bottom of my heart! ♥
@espyetta I had several interesting shots once I finally figured out a little bit what I was doing but this one looked to me like an alien head at the top of a long neck! Thanks,MaryBeth. It takes a little time to set up so once school is out you will be able to fiddle with it I am sure!
