On my way to the fabric store I saw this in the distance and stopped the car in the middle of the road the first time I saw it. I pulled over about a mile down the road and got this shot. My husband who was riding with me was more than patient with my insanity!
How did I miss this?!! Love that smoke ... looks beautiful against that sky. We have several "smoke stacks" here too and I always wonder if it's safe to breathe some of that stuff. Nevertheless, they make great industrial photos. And I love this whole comp! Bless your hubby ... he's like mine. I'll be that they could really trade some "hair-raising stories about you and me, Katy!" Ha.

Wow, nice shot, Katy. My husband would not stop for leaves yesterday but agreed to go to the park today to feed and take photos of the ducks, geese and squirrels. Guess they were more important than the beautiful Fall leaves we saw but do not see close to home. He puts up with a lot from me also. Gotta love him.
@ruthmouch Did you post yours? It was probably in the same spot I am so glad you like it! I doubt yours was the failure you claim either. I don't think you are capable of taking a bad shot!
