Not Always by grammyn

Not Always

When I was very young I drew a picture and made the clouds pink. My dad told me it was a nice picture but clouds are white. Not always, Dad! ♥

Lovely pink clouds. I have some in my project somewhere as well. It's great to see colour in the sky.

Since I started 365 each day I look at the blow back from a sunset and see how it makes the clouds all kinds of colors - especially pink!

Ha! That is true. Adults can be kind of stuck in a rut with those "supposed to be" things! I was a child like that...I remember mom would be coloring something for a bull. board for her Kindergarten room...or first grade....one time, it was an elephant and I asked if I could do it. She let me. I said "there is no gray crayon." She said "MaryBeth, elephants do not have to be gray....they can be pink, green, red, blue, yellow...even rainbow." Yeah, no wonder I loved my mommy!

Love the touch of pink among the blue...yes we adults get stuck in our ways and with our viewpoints sometimes.....nice one Katy!!
