...a Rose E'er Blooming

This little rose just isn't giving up and I now have an ongoing competition with two people that I follow about posting roses in the middle of winter for us! This one is a trailing rose designed to hang over a wall.
What a beauty ...gosh that's an awesome dof and color. You've definitely got a green thumb, girlfriend.

@karenann I'll take credit for the DOF but the color is all GOD! My plants must thrive on neglect! ;~] Thanks for your kind words!

You have a good camera so you might be able to focus a bit more on something like this and it will come out clear as a bell! Its a lovely rosebud!

@maggiemae Thanks, Maggiemae! It was on autofocus so I am not sure how to do that!

@grammyn I tried to see the info about your camera but it doesn't get very informative. The main thing is to make sure the camera recognises your focus point - a 'cross' or a pointer or a light. Mine goes red if it can't focus properly and yellow when its recognised the focus. Don't worry about it too much - you will get the hang of it!

Very gorgeous... will you post a shot when it is in bloom? I would love to see the color then, because it is a beautiful color right now, and I wonder if it will change much... sometimes they get lighter and sometimes darker and sometimes no change at all. Wow... that was a very wise and profound statement... LOL :)

@marilyn I was thinking of you when I wrote about that temperature. I CAN post a shot of it because there were some in bloom at the same time as this shot! Maybe tomorrow. thanks for the profound enlightenment! ;~}
