March 2nd, 2013
@ruthmouch LOL! no ! how about the contrast form Beirut to this?
March 2nd, 2013
I have no idea, but I'm going to say Birmingham, because I think it has a nice ring to it... From Beirut to Birmingham... don't you agree? I also don't think it's as dry as it seems based on the very green little weeds growing around the cacti.
March 2nd, 2013
@marilyn LOL! It does have a nice ring! You are right about not being dry and I had to pull quite a few weeds to get it even this close!
March 2nd, 2013
Sante Fe?
March 2nd, 2013
@hankinsphoto Another great guess but no.

March 2nd, 2013
@peterdegraaff More than just a little!
March 3rd, 2013
@vskolnik I am not sure, Vee! I though it was a cow.
March 3rd, 2013
Pet store was my guess until you said something about pulling weeds....
March 3rd, 2013
@m9f9l Good guess! not it!~
March 3rd, 2013
Do you have Hispanic neighbors? Mine told me I can harvest their cactus for food anytime I want :-)
March 3rd, 2013
@m9f9l I don't! have you done that?
March 3rd, 2013
No. Not yet. :-)
March 3rd, 2013
@m9f9l How do you eat cactus?! aside from the very obvious answer "carefully"!
March 3rd, 2013
I have no clue after all the guesses above. You are too funny.

@swguevin @jayberg @hankinsphoto @lesip @digitalrn @kbalychev @eudora @ruthmouch @marilyn @peterdegraaff @vskolnik @m9f9l Thanks for playing everyone! It is the decor in front of a Mexican restaurant in my town! I have been there a few time but never with my camera! I happened to have it this day and after carefully weeding around the skull and getting a few stickers in my hand I crouched down in front of it (just a little self consciously) snapped a shot or two!
March 4th, 2013
@darsphotos I just typed the response above while you were commenting!
March 4th, 2013

March 4th, 2013
Yes, carefully!LOL http://www.wikihow.com/Eat-Prickly-Pear-Cactus And I think a Mexican restaurant counts as Hispanic neighbors! So I win!! :-)
March 4th, 2013
@m9f9l LOL! Hispanic yes, neighbors no! Half a win at best! ;~}
March 4th, 2013

March 4th, 2013
Never would have guessed, looks authentic, like in the middle of the dessert. Cool shot!
March 4th, 2013
@tara11 it is a little strange to see inn my town but DOES give the restaurant an air of authenticity. Thanks, Tara!
March 4th, 2013
