Our hummingbirds are back. @vskolnik takes magnificent shots of her hummingbirds and this is not nearly as good as hers but I am happy with it because we had a very cloudy day today and this is sooc.
@vskolnik Serious! thanks so much, Vee! I think it is a ruby throated! When there is light and he is faced the right way you can see the red! i have one from last year that it showed on but I'll have to see if I can find it! i don't think I posted it!
What a great catch Katy. My bush hasn't begun to bloom yet, and probably won't this year, but I am going to try and lure some my way with the feeder again.
The gorgeous hummingbird, and so difficult to capture, they are so fast! Absolutely love this. I remember hummingbirds supping the bottlebrush in my garden in Africa. Lovely memory!
