One of my sisters lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming and she showed me her weather forecast for the week. Temperatures in the low thirties to the high teens and 3 to 7 inches of snow. I asked if she had any flowers yet and she said no! This bud's for you.
What a precious delicate capture, its to have to be a fav, not only because I adore flower pics but the kind message, I always wanted a sister and one especially to think of me like this. Just lovely...sigh!
You are nasty!!!! I supposed you could have done a G and T by your pool.....LOVE it...what a beautiful bud-I'm sure she'll love it!! (joking of course) maybe I should do the same for my sis...they are currently raving over almost, but not quite double digits!!!!
@ruthmouch Hey! she ASKED for the flower shot because she doesn't know when she will get to see any in person! ;~} What is a G&T? She DID love the shot and I thank you for your kind words. I hate your sister is going through the same thing. It is really quite unvelievable isn't it?
Oh so very beautiful - I think I'm going to share it with her just a bit. We do finally have some flowers but it sure was late in coming - way too soon for roses where I live
What a beautiful shot for your sister, Katy. I have family there also and it was so cold, down to 21. It was nearly 100 here last Friday night, close to 90 on Saturday, then dropped down a bit. So many within 4 miles of us and further out got rain Monday night for 40 minutes but not us, still so dry here. I feel for the goats, sheep, cows and horses, it looks like Summertime in the fields, so dry and no green to be seen.
This is an exquisite shot of a perfect rose. Love the composition.
