@espyetta You know you are the reason I am back....again! ;~} I freeze them on cookie sheets and put them in bags for use later. Sometimes for cooking but mostly on cereal in the morning. Made a kicking cobbler yesterday for the 4th!
@grammyn Awww.. Well, I am glad to be the cause of that. Everyone is happy to have you back. That cobbler sounds so good. One year, when Erin was 12/ Davis was 9, they stayed with me for a week while my brother and SIL went on a cruise. I took them to pick blueberries (it must have been 100 degrees in the shade, and there was no shade..hee hee) and then Erin and I baked a blueberry pie. She did not think she would even taste it, but after she helped make it, she did taste it. And LOVED it. Davis would not even taste it. All he ate (or still eats) is chicken fingers. Ugh.
Love the flashback! What a great idea! We are currently waiting for our raspberries (red...the black ones have almost all been consumed)!! Love the colors in this shot!
Wow, how colorful these are, Katy. Love the detail you captured. Yum, a berry cobbler. Wish I was there. What a great idea to freeze them to put on cereal later. It was 110 on the 4th and 106 on the 3rd and our one week vacation and no day trips. Stayed in the A/C except for one day that we ventured to the Mall with our son. Luckily our heat wave ended on the 4th and now only the low and high 90's though cool in the mornings and late at night.
