My six year old granddaughter ask me to go with her to one of her many doctor appointments this week! Of course I said yes. She was quite undaunted while she gave blood in the lab today! Life is tough but she is tougher! My sister @marilyn gave her a set of bracelets that say just that too
Oh cool! last year I almost took a pic of myself getting a flu shot, but I would not like to see the needle going in my own arm. So I did not do it. She is a brave girl!
Nice composition on this... duh! She is such a trooper and I bet you were honored to have her ask you to go with her. :) I saw her "tough" picture on FB tonight... super cute!
Brave girl and grandma as well. I don't enjoy it, and always tell the tech to do what has to be done, but not to tell me what's going on. Hope she doesn't need to have it done often.
She was so lucky to have Grandma there with her. As much as I have to do this (once a month) due to being on blood thinners and just had to do this today, I never get used to it. I cannot look and this just creeps me out but a good photo, Katy.
I love how you take other than normal pictures, who would have thought to do this? Great shot and I am sure that by you taking a photo in a light hearted way helped to keep her brave. Well done!!
Oh I don't like the sound of regular blood tests. Hoping all is well and sending lots of positive energy for your little sweetie! She is so lucky to have you an your support!
@grammyn It is hard to have it done routinely and I feel for her. Our Drs office just contracted with another lab that took over internal lab so we lost those we were so used to for many years and my first and second times were not good visits. It really hurt yesterday but nothing we can do about it. She was so lucky to have you there. Maybe I will come in with earbuds and music next time or go to another location as there are a few.
