Fooled Me

I was so excited to find what I thought was a crane in our creek because I had heard they were rare! Further research indicates this in just another Heron

I have made that mistake too with our very special White Heron! Only an ordinary heron, I have found out. They are a neat bird to photograph though, anywhere!

It may not be the crane you were hoping for, but it is still a beautiful pic! We have blue herons near me and they must have radar for me...I can't even get close enough for a shot!

Well done, I have been trying to capture this heron I see on my early morning walks but he's too shy. So heron or crane it's a beautiful shot!
