Last spring our daughter gave me a bird feeder that is right outside our kitchen window. Since my accident I spend a lot of time sitting there and have enjoyed the variety of birds that still come every day. My husband puts the food out and I get to enjoy the show!!
You have such pretty birds visit you Katy.
I usually only get magpies and pigeons visiting my feeder, but a couple of weeks ago I had a couple of visits from a little kingfisher. http://365project.org/onie_m/365/2013-12-18
I can see every little feather! This bird is so cute. I need to get my feeders up during this winter break! I have these metal straps Dan has gotten for m to use to strap the feeder hanger poles to the deck posts .... I just need to get on it.
You are back in full force with this one! He's gorgeous and you got such great focus and detail. Either your vision has improved, or you've mastered the technique of peeking around the holes. FAV
@prn Isn't she, Phil? I saw this super clear shot and was like "WHAT?" I cannot get a clear bird photo like this and I have not had the vision or head brace problems. She rocked this one! Happy New Year to the Nolette family from the Dailey family!

I love this. I can see every little feather.
I am working on birds right now - but can't skate on the ice and have to wait for Tom to fill the feeder.
@pasadenarose Lol!!! Thanks very much. It is probably a little bit of both. I still have some holes so I guess I have learned to compensate a bit too. Thanks a bunch for the FAV, Rose.
@grammyn I did that last year a few times....and I will do it again if I have to! Haha! But need to clean the windows! And I am sick again! Bah humbug...some sort of cold or flu
@espyetta Auto focus is my friend. I have never mastered the art of manual focus and am really glad right now!! Best wishes for a serene 2014 from the Nolettes tog the Daileys too.
