These little guys were sharing the fence waiting for a chance at the feeder on one of our sub freezing days. You can tell it was cold by how puffed up they are!
@grammyn -3C is cold! We had -7C last winter which was very unusual as we usually only go down to about -3 or -4. That extra 3 degrees colder makes a big difference!
@grammyn You are welcome, Katy. I did not want to overwhelm you with information but wanted to relay to you from my personal experience and what I found on the Stanford site. I figured your husband and you could together go through it. There is lots to think about, worry about and be happy about as well as this is all new to you. Hang in there. You are an amazingly strong person and have the support of so many. Feel free to keep in contact with me as often as you like. Hugs!
Oh, Katy! That one in the background looks so pitifully grumpy! and Red just looks like "Geesh....I give...UP! How far south do I have to go?" I love how you caught Mr. Red in the front with Mr. Grumpy in the back. :0) Such a cute shot. Poor birds, but thank goodness it did not last long.
@espyetta Lol! I love how you see such great personality in each of them. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to comment. Are you healthy again?
@grammyn Hi Katy! I am much much better! I came home tired and coughing again on Friday, but after resting this weekend, I am feeling pretty good! Thanks for asking. How are you doing?
@espyetta Better every day. Time is mostly what I need. Glad to hear you are better. It sounds a bit like work is what you need to eliminate if it hits you every Friday! (;
Glad I wasn't up there for your weather. Ours was bad enough! I felt bad for them too!
