February 18th, 2014
Oooooo I love this cheery spring shot!
February 18th, 2014
♥♥♥ !
February 18th, 2014
LOVE! That brick makes a gorgeous background for the bright yellow and green of the daffodil... and, again, a fab composition!
February 18th, 2014
I am so ready, let it shine!
February 18th, 2014
Ha! Not a taste I enjoy, but love the flower! I'm thinking Spring is around the corner because we had crazy hail today!
February 18th, 2014
Such beautiful colours! Love the sentiment as well@
February 18th, 2014
@vskolnik LOL!! Love it!

February 18th, 2014
@maggiemae @anazad511 @kbird61 @judithdeacon @mzzhope @joemuli Thanks! I was a little excited to find it and knew those of my friends that are still snowed in might like to see it.
February 18th, 2014
@marilyn It must have been fun watching me trying to get in a good position for that brick background! Thanks a bunch, Sissy!
February 18th, 2014
@digitalrn I hope it cheers all who still have white out their doors.
February 18th, 2014
@kwiksilver Thanks, Gillian! I know so many people here despair of ever seeing this. They have had a really rough winter!
February 18th, 2014
Deb
With the cold, snowy weather we have had, I noticed a daffodil coming up in the front of the house.
February 18th, 2014
@m9f9l That doesn't sound like much of an improvement over snow! Glad you like the shot!
February 18th, 2014
Definitely an improvement, normal turning-into-spring weather!
February 18th, 2014
@lesip That is what I love about you most! ;~}
February 18th, 2014
@deburahiru Fabulous! they just need a little encouragement. I hope it doesn't turn cold again and freeze them.
February 18th, 2014
Nice photo, Katy! I went to the garden center today to look at flowers....but bought herbs instead! My husband says we may get another freeze....
February 18th, 2014
That does my heart good. Beautiful.
February 18th, 2014
Hello Katy!! Happy to see you again too)) how are you doing???
Great you're still with photos, this is a beautiful one, great spring colours:)
February 18th, 2014
Such a cheerful image
February 18th, 2014
@eudora Sometimes herbs are a wiser choice!! ;). February isn't always kind to early flowers. Thanks for the nice comment, Diane.
February 18th, 2014
@cdonohoue I was hoping you would see it. Glad you like it, Cathy. Since I am sure you won the last rose posted contest last fall ( unfair advantage with me in the hospital. ;) !!! ) perhaps you will concede the first growing flower of spring posted. I am so competitive!!LOL
February 18th, 2014
@nyusha I am well. I took a break from photos after my accident but I am back to it now and have missed you.

I think of you now especially because of the Olympics. I must confess I haven't watched much but would have loved to be there.
February 18th, 2014
@claireuk Thanks, Claire. Have you been affected by the flooding?
February 18th, 2014
@grammyn No not at all, we are fairly high and fortunately some of our rivers were dredged. Last year our village did get cut off but no houses flooded; The South East of the country are suffering so badly, some have been flooded now for over 7 weeks, how awful is that. Thank you for asking though
February 18th, 2014
@claireuk Glad to hear it. My knowledge of UK geography is deplorable so I am not smart enough to figure it out on my own!!!
February 18th, 2014
so delicate. great spring color
February 18th, 2014
@jpvona In Alabama we are almost there! Thanks, Jill.
February 19th, 2014
Katie! that makes me want to cry it's so beautiful. I am weeks and weeks away from seeing any of my bulbs.
February 19th, 2014
I am so excited to see this. Mine just popped up this week. Hopefully no more snow & mine will bloom soon. Great shot!
February 19th, 2014
Wow! What a trooper this little flower is! I hear that we are maybe going to get another snow next Wed. The Farmer's Almanac says it, and it has been right many times this season...so it has even the meteorologists talking.....
February 19th, 2014
Oh my goodness, yaaaaay! Spring is coming! I almost bought a bouquet this week as I was grocery shopping. I thin I definitely will next week!! Beautiful shot! Fav!
February 19th, 2014
Great shot and love what you wrote. I took a photo of my neighbors daffodils and they were down like this one is and I put it up to get the center but like yours better. Spring is in the air. Sunny days here, in the 70's and no rain in our forecast. We can get rain till the end of May and hope we do and lots of it. Loving this nice weather but it has to change for us.
February 19th, 2014
@sunshinephoto5 I wanted to make you happy!! That is why I am sharing it. Truth be told I am very jealous of all you snow!
February 19th, 2014
@chrissieh Thanks, Chrissie. I'll bet yours pop out by next week unless you get snow again.
February 19th, 2014
@espyetta Well now I know who to curse if it happens ! Once the flowers start blooming I am done with winter!!
February 19th, 2014
I am so happy you like this. I wanted to provide a ray of hope to all my winter friends. Coming soon to a garden near you!! ;). Thanks for the FAV.
February 19th, 2014
I'm glad you like it Darlene. We are have 70 degree weather this week too but we have rain in our forecast. I hope you get some too because I know how much you need it.
February 19th, 2014
Very funny, Katy! I only noticed our daffodils poking out of the ground yesterday so you are way ahead of us.
February 20th, 2014
@hankinsphoto Thanks.Steve!! We didn't get nearly as much snow as you did either!
February 20th, 2014
@luvmynynix the fourth comment up is yours that I forgot to tag you in! Sorry ;~{
February 21st, 2014
@darsphotos Apparently I can't get it together! I forgot to tag my response to you above.
February 21st, 2014
@grammyn Not to worry. I forget to click Fav and say the wrong name once in a while on comments. Hope you are doing well. So far behind. Having some testing on Monday to check my thyroid. Changed my Primary Dr and where I go. Still close to home. I was fed up with my care and so happy I changed. But I have to have blood drawn once a week as my INR got too thick, 1.8 and then every two weeks, until we get to a month. At least this lab seems really good and inside the building that my Dr is in. Have not met her yet. WIll meet her on March 5. Everything is online. It is so cool. Can see my test results, etc. Will have my thyroid checked at the old office as I had it set up and they think I have another lump of some kind and need to check it on Monday. I really am sick of medical stuff and hope this settles down soon. I hope you are doing well and feeling great. You are amazing. FAV for your photo. I really do love it.
February 21st, 2014
