The squirrels have been avoiding the bird feeders a bit and I wondered why until I saw this one this morning. A veritable feast of berries in the tree in our back yard!
@luvmynynix He was probably 20 feet away and this is through the kitchen window so not as clear as it could have been but had I been outside he would not have sat still long enough for me to get the shot!
@mhatch Thanks, Mark. I have to be careful because I know others don't always find them as interesting as I do so I try not to post as often as I would like!
@darsphotos Not a favorite berry but I did make some jam out of it this year for the first time ever. I don't mind sharing though if it keeps them out of the feeders!
@grammyn Wow, how nice to have some jam out of the berries. I hope you are enjoying it. Guess the squirrels like them a lot, though they will eat a variety of food. You are sounding like so many with squirrels in the bird feeders. I wish we had squirrels around here, I think. Still thinking about a bird feeder.
