Meet Mo

Brunch at my daughter's house today gave me an opportunity to meet Mo. He is her classroom animal that is at home with her during Christmas break. I tried to get a good shot of him eating his meal worms but he was much too fast for me!
love him!

Cool!

Bearded dragon? They are such fun looking lizards. I've seen them at reptile shows and they always have a bunch of them together in big bins. They seem to be so curious and lively.

Hi Mo
December 31st, 2014
Oh heavens! I don't think I'd like to make close acquaintance with Mo but well done on your capture!

Nice capture but I think this is as close as I want to get to him!

My son has one of these. They keep growing!

Does his tongue come out and flick the worms in? Be great to catch that!! He's a cutie and great that a school will look after a creature like this

@tunia They do! this one is a little bigger than my fist not counting his tail!

@maggiemae his tongue does and I was trying to get just that shot but I had to set my shutter speed low because of the darkened room he was in so all I ever got was a blur.

Great shot of Mo... glad he is there and I am here! Actually they are quite fascinating and there are worse classroom pets. One of my besties has a snake and has had hissing cockroaches... a big fat NO THANKS on the cockroach!

@darsphotos Thanks, Darlene! I hate I had to settle for this very mundane shot of him but the light wasn't good enough to get the one I wanted!
January 1st, 2015
@ruthmouch That is EXACTLY what I was thinking as I took it! Great minds......................! Thanks for your kind comments Ruth!

@grammyn I do not think of this as mundane. There are places in the states with this color of rock and seeing this lizard/iguana amongst that would be the same look only outside.

@darsphotos that is true I guess!
January 2nd, 2015
