Mundane Monotony by grammyn

Mundane Monotony

I let A cold and THE cold get the best of me today and did nothing towards a 365 shot until this evening when lots of options were no longer available. I spent most of the day in my computer/sewing room. This is the view behind me from my computer desk. Exciting isn't it? My friend Vikki has had the flu most of the week and it still churning out amazing images! This is what ya get from me!
you still posted - and that is most excellent - I like the light and shadows and nothing says monotony more than an iron :)

Your shot would go very well with @kwiksilver and her latest shot! Maybe you could do it online?

@eudora Thanks Diane! I am not all that sick but sick enough that all I did was sit around all day.

@annied Well aren't you too kind? LOL! good to know I nailed the monotony part anyway!

@grammyn How funny I have the same thing behind me in my computer/sewing room. Gotta always have that iron by when you sew. Hope you are feeling better.

Get better NOW, sister! I do not want you feeling unwell next week! Great monotony shot...

gosh I haven't ironed in 3 weeks . Wonder if I'll arrive home to a huge pile of my husband dress shirt?
January 11th, 2015
Well, you at least posted something Katy
January 11th, 2015
@madamelucy Thanks Terri. feeling much better already. I almost never use the iron for anything BUT sewing!
January 11th, 2015
@marilyn Yes MA'AM! that was my first thought immediately!
January 11th, 2015
@bill_fe I like having that to fall back on Bill! ;~}

@lesip It may have been three YEARS for me Leslie but my husband wears work shirts instead of dress shirts.

Very exciting monotony capture, Katy. Hope you feel better, my dear.
January 11th, 2015
I hope you feel better soon but this shot is just fine.
January 11th, 2015
@anazad511 LOL! there is something wrong with you if you think an iron is an exciting shot! ♥ Thanks though. It is just a little cold that will disappear soon enough!
January 11th, 2015
@tunia So nice of you to say! I'll be OK!
January 11th, 2015
LOL! What is it about ironing that catches the eye! Totally love the synchonicity!
January 11th, 2015
@kwiksilver Great minds I guess!
January 12th, 2015
I love it, Katy. You will look at your project and know what you were doing at a glance. I never iron any more. Drip dry or in the dryer. When I sewed like you though, it went along with everything I made. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.

@darsphotos Thanks for the well wishes!

LOL You get what you get and you don't get upset! Good rule by which to live! :)

@luvmynynix as I age I have learned to not stress about the inconsequential details anymore. It took me a long time, (and a broken neck) to come to this position!
