Juicy by grammyn

Juicy

They looked so beautiful in color I was afraid B&W wouldn't work. I was surprised a little that it does.
Very nice detail and light.

Beautiful capture of this strawberries. It looks very nice in B&W, but I would love to see it in color.

I saw this before the color version, and just felt that it was very elegant. Unexpected in black and white, but it works. Fav

Now Katy, when I saw this I was very impressed with its toning. Nice idea.

i love colour, and it took me three years on 365 to appreciate black and white photographs. the colour version tells you it's delicious. the black and white however give you details that are overpowered by the colour and arouses more interest about exactly how red they are, how sweet they smell, and will you please put some milk on it already and let's partake? come on! :-D

sorry, i got distracted, someone just handed me a big slice of pecan topped brownie that has a creamy centre with a half luscious looking strawberry that i can't eat because i have a reaction to it and now i want to go and get my tea. toodles, girlfriend.

Normally I'm a color photo guy but I think that B&W really works well for this. It lets us paint it with our own colors. It actually looks more appealing than the color one you posted yesterday!

If it was bright red we might miss the juiciness. Well done.
