OUCH! That's Going To Sting Tomorrow

Hi Dad ♥ What you are seeing (on my less than pristine kitchen window) is the imprint of a bird that flew into it. If you look carefully you can see his feet, his chest, his beak, his eye, and his outstretched wing up to the left. I didn't see or hear it happen and looked for a body below the window but found none. Grateful for that.
Ouch!

Poor thing. We had this happen twice on our sliding glass door and finally made sure the screen was closed to that side as it was all about reflection in our case.

Oh no :( Poor birdie. It gives me hope that he's ok because you didn't find a body.

Hahahaha I can't help but laugh! This seems like something from a cartoon!! I do hope the birdie is alright...and that his friends didn't see...lol

Its hard to believe he could survive that crash. Maybe he has nine lives, like a cat.

Weird, a bird just smashed into our window 10 min ago... unfortunately it seems dead though... and no super cool imprint to photograph? Wow, this is a really original sight.

Wow - can't believe he was able to fly away from that hit! Nicely captured.

Well, that will knock the wind out of you! They fly into our cathedral ceiling windows quite often. Some survive and some don't. It's such a heartbreak when they don't! Glad this one just left his "signature". Good catch for you.

That is one crazy imprint. Wow!!! I thought you caught it when it happened. Talk about good timing!!!

for a while there I thought you caught the actual thing happening. maybe the squirrels are him because I'm pretty sure with those imprints he didn't seem like he stood any chance of surviving. sorry.
