.. the North Carolina border that is. A popular tourist attraction at the North-South Carolina border on interstate 95. Another drive-by on the way to graduation. My husband graciously slowed down to a crawl so I could get several shots. I liked this one the best.
Love the hat on top. I have a photo of my son with something like that on his head when he was little. Gotta love our husbands slowing down for us to take photos like this.
@francoise LOL neither going or coming home! @alophoto Thanks. It can be fun if you have time to spend @maggiemae Not a ferris wheel. Possible a ride or a water tower @darsphotos Thanks Darlene. It was very nice of him. He often obliges me that way. @kwind I really appreciate that K. It turned out great for a drive-by I thought @cjphoto So glad you like it Chris. Thanks for the comment @kandkids You are so right. Never enough time to see them all either. @lesip Actually I have stopped more than once but always with kids in tow I think. The signs on both sides of the road might have been a deciding factor too.
I remember passing that place when Christopher and I drove to GA/AL for the '96 Olympics. We might have stopped had we more time, but I do remember it being quite the "Tourist Trap" but fun looking.
@olivetreeann It is not an easy place to forget and can be very fun @vstap Thanks so much @dyanstevens Thanks Dyan. I imagine bunches have stopped in the past but probably not as much as they used to. @daisyditch Thanks Daisy. There were lots more buildings closer to the ground too.
