As I slowly rounded the last corner of my walk I saw the ground moving. Upon closer inspection I realized it was this catepillar. It motivated me to finish my walk at a much quicker pace so I could grab my camera, which I didn't have with me and come back. I drove back to the spot and he/she hadn't moved very far at all. After a few pictures I moved it to the grass across the street so it wouldn't get run over. I am assuming these are babies attached to its side but will gladly accept any enlightenment about them.
if a human was carrying that any babies she'd be going a lot slower, too! i thought they were maggots preying on the poor caterpillar! hah! i learned something new today on biology! :-) thanks to you and marilyn.
@grammyn oh! Well it was two or three years ago that I was on here, under the name 2thGirl. I finished a project and took a break! I don't know that I did anything remarkable/memorable; just had one on the PP that whole time I think.
