Elusive Blue by grammyn

Elusive Blue

I have seen blue jays around our feeders in the past but they are so skitterish that they never stay still long enough for me to get my camera or get it focused before they fly off. This morning was different. Not only were there three of them, instead of the usual one, but they stayed in place long enough for me to get a shot or two through my dirty kitchen window. Not the clearest shot, therefore, but I am happy with just getting it. Perhaps they decided the easy food at the feeder was worth the sacrifice.

Beautifully captured - I haven't seen a blue jay in ages!

these guys just flit by me and never gave me a chance. for instance at louise's in lunenburg. jays abound, when i'd be aiming my camera at them, i'd click and all i've captured were the blurry end of their tails as they flew away. you got this one real good. aces!
