A fascinating new challenge that has to do with composition has pushed me to give it a bit of a go. I am not positive l will be able to do a whole month but am going to try at least a week. The challenge is to shoot in a square format and divide the picture in vertical half with one shot as l understand it. http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/29707/half-and-half-may This is my first attempt

This is a good start Katy! I thought the two pictures had to blend or be the same, but you've made two shots look like they're one as the left side looks like curtains to me. Well done!
@grammyn No, I think you're right and I was wrong. Which is good because my first couple of processing attempts were epic fails and I was beginning to regret that I'd committed to it!
@olivetreeann@francoise - you don't need to edit two photos together - it just needs to be one photo with two parallel lines, you can flip a horizontal photo to vertical (like my first image yesterday). Check the Instagram link I included in the challenge as it will give you lots of ideas.
@grammyn - you are welcome. You can keep doing it this way if you like. I think you will come up with some great images if you do but do the easiest thing for you.
