Wonderful on black and so true about life, Katy. How things change as we grow older. My husband was diagnosed on Jan 23 with prostate cancer. He has had many tests and more to come and robotic surgery on May 11 at UCSF (San Francisco). I knew he was not feeling well for a while but did not know why, urinary problems. Some is aggressive cancer and he has to take off 20-30 pounds before surgery due to positioning during surgery. Life tosses us things to deal with and we do. You are one I have learned so much from and grateful to have met you here on 365. I hope you are doing well.
@darsphotos My husband had prostate cancer several years ago. He had a successful surgery and has had all zero PSA tests since then. Not fun, but it is a highly treatable cancer. Prayers for God to carry you both through this and to bless your future.

@marilyn Thank you for sharing this with me, Marilyn. It is good to know about your husbands outcome. Dan's surgeon was so reassuring this past Monday which helped us both breathe easier. I am grateful that he is going into this positively. Thank you for the prayers as they are so helpful as well. To many more healthy years for you and your husband.
@grammyn You have been a solid rock on here and simply amazing. I am so blessed to have you as part of my world. My Father In Law years ago before his passing said "We all have our cross to bear" and so it is. It means a lot to hear positive in this journey, Katy.
