Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head

Humidity- 100% Great for the misty effect on my lens, not so great for the lens!
How beautiful Katy - we desperately need rain. Although it is winter I the raindrops have been few and far between. I want to start preparing my garden for Spring but without the rain I have a long task ahead.

A lovely shot and great title. Lately we seem to have more fog than before and fortunately quite a bit of rain.

This captures the humidity perfectly. We have high humidity too but not quite this high! 😊

Nice effect. Thankfully, our humidity has not been quite this high.

@nicolecampbell @ludwigsdiana @Dawn @maggiemae @gilbertwood @gijsje @louannwarren @henrir Thank you so much for all your positive comments. I am glad you like how this illustrates our humidity caused by frequent afternoon thunderstorms and high temperatures. It isn't quite as bad as it looks in this photo as what you are seeing is the condensation on the lens but it is noticeable when entering the outside after being in the cooler drier airconditioned inside air!

no, humidity is not good for the camera. but the smoky effect here seems other-wordly. aces!

Humidity as thick as pea soup! Good shot.

I do like the effect it created. I hope your lens is OK

@summerfield how kind of you and I am glad you approve thanks
@olivetreeann Boy has it ever been! thanks Ann
@bill_fe my lens is somewhat used to it because whenever I take it out of the AC it is exposed to it. It has created some very interesting photos for me over the years but l l can't really recommend it as an artistic tool!

@grammyn If you put your camera in a ziplock bag while indoors, and allow it to reach ambient temperature before taking it out, it should not fog up.

Poor lens! Bill's tip sounds like a good one!
