Part of the reason for my lack of involvement on 365 recently. After 50 years I decided to go back to school and get a college diploma. Yesterday was my first official day of class if you don't count the on line class that started on Monday. It is going to be an experience for sure!
what a brilliant undertaking. i salute you for doing this. if you need help, although i know you'll do very well by yourself, i 'm here to lend a helping hand or what's left if my brain. 😊 yay you!
Great motivation and courage! I believe it will be over before you know it! Remember, the journey is also part of the eduction and it all builds knowledge! I'm a firm believer of "life long learning".
My grandmother graduated from college in 1911, My mother in the 50's My daughters in the 90's and My granddaughters will in the 20's. I am the only one in that succession without a degree so when I registered I told them whatever is the easiest and fastest degree possible. I want my granddaughters to be able to say " my mother, my grandmother, my great grandmother and my great great grandmother ALL graduated from college." I am too old to want a career ...I just want the diploma so l will study whatever I am told for now.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart because I know you will be there cheering me on until I finish! ♥
You have at leasst a Masters, if not a PhD, from the University of Life!! however, learning is fun, I think that you'r magnificent to do it. Have you chosen which subject- as I do not believe any are easy, it just has to reflect your aptitudes and interests. BSc in Photography perhaps!!
Wow! I obviously hadn’t seen this when I commented on yesterday’s shot. I encourage you to have fun and come out on the other end of the journey invigorated by the experience. I am really impressed by you.
@maggiemae You are right. I don't feel the need for it to define me as successful. I just want it to be an inspiration and legacy for my granddaughters. @mcsiegle thanks Mary. So far I have only gone back to school Time will tell if I succeed! ;~} @mikegifford probably but for now I am just taking courses they tell me I need. I had considered that though @30pics4jackiesdiamond what a wonderful thing to say Jackie! I might be able to work photography in there somewhere @sarasotab don't be impressed Robert but l certainly thank you for your encouragement and support @wyomingsis Thank you so much for your constant support in all my life adventures. It is going to take lots of time from me but I think it will be worth it in the end♥
