Remedy

Mowing, trimming, raking, dumping. A long day and a longer night if I don't use at least some of these remedies. Thankfully, I shouldn't need the poison ivy cream but the rest of it will come in handy
Since I still have snow with more on the way, it's hard for me to imagine mowing but I can empathize with the aches and pains! As we get older, what doesn't hurt, often doesn't work!

It’s just that all the bending and lifting uses muscles that we don’t use in the winter! Those heat patches would be calling my name in a week or two - when I finally get busy in the yard.

My sympathy. Last week we had 2 cubic metres of soil delivered and had to barrow it from the front of the drive to the back garden, boy did I know about it the next day!!

@wyomingsis I think it was in the high seventies today. There was a nice breeze though. Usually my "everything" hurts. Just more so today! ;~}
@louannwarren you are so right! Plan ahead.
@judithdeacon thanks Judith. I have done that before too and totally feel your pain!

The first week to two of yard work are the hardest until our muscles get used to it. Then it is just slightly hard.

@tunia LOL! You are exactly right. I’m not sure my muscles ever get used to it though.

Thats a shame if you need these remedies! However if they work, its all worth while! I like the sound of the heat patches!

That sounds like a very busy day. Perhaps a long soak in the bath is called for.

I swear on the heat patches for my aches and pains, it does the world of good. Hope your aches are soon gone ;-)

I feel your pain. I get sore very quickly working in the yard. Thankfully, I have a hard girl that does most of the heavy stuff. Hope your soreness goes away soon.
