Nov. 5 Thankful For...

...wealth. We are by no means wealthy but we have enough.

There are 127 countries out of 173 in the world that have greater poverty than the US. We have to save if we want some things but we don't have to worry about having enough money to meet our basic needs as many in other parts of the world do.
You're lucky! I am too. I wish everyone was in the same situation.

As long as we have enough money to buy a decent camera! Or two, even!

Good POV. I also like you DoF and how the edge of the quarters capture and refract the light a bit.

Definitely something to be thankful for. Many years ago, one of our pastors did an illustration with old bread to show wealth/poverty around the world. He gave on guy 1 slice (can't remember the country it represented), but he loaded my husband up with something like 40 loaves of bread to represent the US.

amen to that! poverty is around us, even in canada. the good thing being in north america is that we can start from scratch and build up, we have more chances here than in the third world. i know it and i've seen it. we are all indeed lucky to be here. aces to your shot, girlfriend.
